Cheryl Sweeney
Cheryl Sweeney is an award winning artist who recently moved to Virginia from North Carolina. She successfully combines her training in classical realism with her passion for impressionism and is best known for her poetic pastel landscapes and delicate botanical drawings.
Cher has traveled throughout the United States painting, teaching, and exhibiting her work. The rural landscape is her main source of inspiration, and she is particularly attracted to the rolling hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Cher has been a freelance illustrator since 1993. She lives and paints in Floyd County, Virginia.
