My art is my therapy! All pieces are constructed of recycled material, stones are chipped throwaways. The wood was found in an old warehouse and made its way to me. It is hard wood from the Zomba Plateau in South Africa. It is stronger then the tallest iron tree here in this region. The wood is over 150 years old as the story goes before it is cut The tree is accent it is a mahogany family with high consecrates of acidic nature. The antlers are from hunters that bring me what they don't mount. The string for the necklaces is sometime old shoestring that I heat and twist The epoxies are a secret ingredient that bonds like no other. As Jeff Kimball coined it, "Johnny's work is art factual art." John2Ponies.com
