Chris was born in Bournemouth, England in 1944, and grew up in an environment dominated by extremely talented engineers and technicians. The multitude of intricate and exciting mechanical and constructional projects going on all around him had a profound impact on his artistic style. His work is unique in that it combines humor, superb draughtsmanship and watercolor expertise. Chris has painted professionally since 1980 and has exhibited many times on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Chris now lives in the heart of England, with his wife Rhea, and have close relatives living in the Floyd/Willis area of Virginia.
