Session 1* June 19 African Animals
Come explore Africa. We'll be playng with lions, monkeys, tigers and zebras.We'll visit jungles, grasslands and hangout at the watering hole.
Session 2*June 26-Wildlife: A life experience
We'll explore and build wildlife habitats and shelters.We'll investigate their bare necessities(food, water, air).
Session3* July3- Deep Sea Dive
After examining who lives in the ocean and where they live, we'll then create our own ocean with our own favorite underwater creatures.
Session4* July10-Clay Creation Station
Let's play with clay! We'll become "potters" and create our own sculptures. Learn how to change its color, shape it and dry it & get messy.
Session 5* July 17-Wind Tunnel
Air!! It's all around us.Let's use it to make windchimes, bubbles, kites,windmills and play parachutes.we'll move like the wind.
Session 6* July 24-Starry Space
Come explore the galaxy, create constellations, name the stars and build spaceships.
Sessions 7* July31- Crazy for Cats
Do you have a cat? Do you love cats? Do you want to be a cat? Come celebrate the cat.
Session8* August 7- Final Fling
Summer comes to an end with our final fling week where we salute the summer and have some fun. Picnics, ice cream party and crafts focused on the sun.

Summer Camp
Ages 7-11 / Mon.-Thurs. 9 til 3
Session 1* June 19- Nature Crafts
Come join us for this four day program in which we will create nature based crafts such as basket making, wreath making, papermaking,, gourd crafts and much more. Be dressed for woodwalks with tracking.
Session 2* June 26-Earthskills
We'll be having fun breaking rocks and learning how to make primitive tools(flintknapping), cordage and twining, pottery and outdoor firing plus stoneage cooking.Tribal games and stories.
Session 3* July 3-Exploring the world of medicinals.
We will walk the grounds of Blue Mountain School and discover the wild edibles and medicinals. We will learn basic principles of botany.And we will make an herb garden at BMS and learn how to make tinctures and salves.
Session4*July10-Wilderness Living Skills
How did people live before electricity and houses? How would you live if you didn't have the modern world to depend on? Come learn some techniques for survival such as identifying wild foods and preparing them, cooking on an open fire, making shelter, making rope from plants, starting fire from a bow drill and lots more fun.
Session 5* July 17- Clay Magick
We'll mix clay and hay and make outdoor sculptures. A trip through the history to learn about how clay was used to make shelters, homes and ovens.Where does that clay come from? Be prepared to play in the clay.
Session 6*July 24-Art Extravaganza
Join us for an art extravaganza !! Come explore different mediums like pencil, markers, paint, fabric and clay. We work indoors as well as outdoors as we take time for hikes down to a stream for there is much to be seen and learned in natures classroom.. We'll have an art exhibit the last day of class .
Session 7*July 31- Native American Week
Want to learn about Native American Culture? Join us for dance, music and exploration of culture and art. We will focus on different tribes and locate them on maps. We will listen to stories and legends. From what we learn we will create animal totems, gourd rattles, vision quests, and harvests. Listen to the distant drum beats and join us if you are called.
Session 8*August 7th- King Arthur's Court
Build a castle, learn to juggle, make a banner and family crest, read stories, dress up in gowns and robes as you step back into medieval times. We'll take time out from our courtly manners and play outside. Join us as we learn about medieval costumes, caste systems, food,spices, daily living skills(and problems) and what jobs there might have been for you.
Fee for above camps- $100 per 4-day session
Summer Camp - Ages 11-17
July 10th - Summer Clay
Yo it's hot! It's summer and we're going to make it hotter!
All you clay lovers love dirt, fire and the magic they create together. So after creating sculpture or functional wares and decorative art, we'll have a sawdust firing on site!! Plenty of freedom to explore clay on your own. Afternoons bring the coolness of a creek or outdoor/indoor movement. Fee $105
July 31 - Jewelry 101
1/2 day 9am til noon or 12:30 til 3:30. 4 days of jewelry magic! It's not as hard as it looks to create beautiful bracelets, necklaces and earrings that we see in our favorite stores. We'll use a variety of beads, wire, cord and more. Come adorn yourself with your own creations. Fee $60 per session
August 7 - Spa Girls
Come join us in this all girls camp as we explore the fine art of indulgence. We'll explore the fun ways to care for our bodies and minds, from basic hair and nail care to fun, easy and super cool DO-IT Yourself Do's. From cucumber slices to avocado face masks. Spa girls will make their own lotions and soaps to take home as well as trying out the ancient arts of Yoga and Qigong for healthy bodies. We'll eat together and learn about eating for a healthy body. Pamper yourself with spa- therapy. Fee $105

July 10-13 "Me and My Mask"

This camp class is designed for the young, eager and the enthusiastic. We will discover the magic of masks from around the world and together we will explore "Who am I?" and the many faces we wear.
July 17-20 "The Spirit of the Mask"
9:00 - 11:30 ages 11-13
12:30 - 3:00 ages 14-17
This camp class is designed for young people who are fascinated by masks - and by the curious power they evoke. We will explore the mystical role the mask has played in ancient cultures and together we will delve a little deeper into our selves to awaken the spirit of our masks.
In both camp classes (above) each camper will build their mask base using paper mache and will embellish it with an assortment of supplied materials and any special treasures brought from home. Once the mask emerges, we will give it the breath of life and the mask will be put into motion. Fee per session $60
