Elections for Board membership take place each May. Blue Mountain School Members (current families, teachers, administrative staff and Board Trustees) may nominate candidates for the Board by contacting a member of the Board or Office Staff. The Board will present a slate of candidates to the membership to be distributed by email and sent home with all students, and members will have two weeks to consider nominees and offer final vote.Board terms are for two years and membership requires regular attendance at and participation in monthly Board meetings, regular committee meetings, and major school events. Prospective nominees are encouraged to become familiar with the Board Responsibilities and School Bylaws and attend one or more Board meetings as a visitor.
