12th Annual Mardi Gras!

This year we’re keeping the Mardi Gras fun at home with a Krewe de Bleu dinner and Floyd Mardi Gras Party Packs for Blue Mountain School's 12th Annual celebration and school benefit!  We have gathered together some of the best parts of Floyd Mardi Gras with a tasty take-home Krewe de Bleu fine-dining feast! The dinner has sold out but you can still tune into the music, dance the night away, and make a donation to your favorite little school in the woods by buying a virtual dinner!

The flavors of Mardi Gras come home to you with a multicourse fine dining low-country inspired feast sourcing local, organic ingredients created by chef Elias Sarver-Wolf, of Local Roots and Tabula Rasa. The menu includes grits from Gracious Day Grains, Greens from Riverstone Farm, and produce from Glade Road Growers, and baguettes from Grateful Bread.

The evening includes a live streaming dinner music by Jenny Brooke and Mike Mitchell! Mike and Jenny have been serving our community, teaching at Floyd Music School for 14 years. During that time, many Blue Mountain School students have learned the love of music with them! Always happy to provide music for community events and celebrations, Mike and Jenny are very much looking forward to performing Jazz Standards, Classical Favorites and Folk Songs for this year's annual Mardi Gras event.  Their Livestream will be from the FMS studio and broadcast on the Floyd Music School Facebook Page from 7:00 till 8:30.

This year FLOYD PFLAG is continuing the tradition by hosting the annual Floyd Mardi Gras Costume Contest Online! Put on your fancy garb and send a picture to contact@bluemountainschool.net no later than Saturday, February 13th at 1pm to be entered in this years contest for:

Best Overall  *  Best Rainbow  *  Best Accessories  *  Best Family

Winners will be announced at the end of the live stream concert!!!
