Financial Freedom and Sovereignty Campaign

The spirit of generosity can change everything!

Good friends, founding members and neighbors have a very special goal for Blue Mountain School this next year -- paying off the (approximately) $80,000 mortgage.  A very special "angel donor" wrote this powerful message to inspire our financial independence and further our ability to even better serve our community:

"Neighbors and friends feel called to assist Blue Mountain in attaining full ownership and sovereignty over our beloved campus; and to free up its monthly budget for the many things that a school is called to do.  If you are moved to donate any amount, it will help Blue Mountain School attain this goal of sovereignty and to continue their ongoing efforts to enhance the learning environment, offer scholarships to low-income families, and expand their capacity to benefit even more families."

For the first $25,000 donated, each dollar will be matched by a generous team of "angel donors" to double the amount being gifted to the school!

Together, we can do anything! To donate you can follow this link to our fundraiser page, use the donation button below to donate using paypal, or if you are offering a large amount, consider skipping service fees by sending a check to:

We deeply appreciate your support!!!

Donate to support our programs!

Blue Mountain School is a nonprofit, alternative education oasis in the woods of the Appalachian Mountains.
Blue Mountain School's holistic approach to education is aligned with Reggio Emilia philosophy, grounded in social-emotional learning, mindfulness, and outdoor education.
Every year Blue Mountain School's operating costs far exceed what we charge for tuition, creating a gap.
Your generosity helps us fill the gap! Donate to meet the divide
between Blue Mountain School tuition and actual programming costs.

Thank you for helping our favorite little school in the woods grow stronger, taller, and continue to nurture learners far into the future!
