We are thrilled to once again host summer camps on our beautiful outdoor campus.  Descriptions are below, along with a link for registration.  We look forward to seeing you here!!

Forest Forts, June 20-24
Join us for a week of fun and learning in the beautiful woods around Blue Mountain School.    Campers will create, build and engage in cooperative play.   We will incorporate primitive skills, music,  water play and art into our days together.

The Game is Afoot: Playing Big and Small, June 27-July 1
From big group games on the field to small board games around the table, campers will come home with new games to share with family and friends.  Campers will be supported in creating and developing their very own game.  All the games will keep the fun in learning the fundamentals and building community and confidence!

Making Magic from the Inside Out: Mindful Music and Movement , July 6-8
Mindfully weaving together a few of our favorite things at Blue Mountain School, this week will be full of creative expression and big body movement.  Featuring local musicians, we plan to weave music into group games, expressive dance, and more!

Full STEAM Ahead, All Aboard for Tinkering Camp at Blue Mountain School, July 11-15
Using Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics campers will build critical thinking, creativity, problem solving and social skills all while they design, create and build using Blue Mountain School's tinkering lab.

Donate to support our programs!

Blue Mountain School is a nonprofit, alternative education oasis in the woods of the Appalachian Mountains.
Blue Mountain School's holistic approach to education is aligned with Reggio Emilia philosophy, grounded in social-emotional learning, mindfulness, and outdoor education.
Every year Blue Mountain School's operating costs far exceed what we charge for tuition, creating a gap.
Your generosity helps us fill the gap! Donate to meet the divide
between Blue Mountain School tuition and actual programming costs.

Thank you for helping our favorite little school in the woods grow stronger, taller, and continue to nurture learners far into the future!
